Abstract

This paper describes how to obtain and show the results of a coopetition model for domestic garment SMEs to increase global competitiveness. A measure of the competitiveness of garment SMEs in the global market, the achievement of product position at the level of sales, as a criterion variable. Organizational functions and business processes of garment SMEs include marketing, product development/innovation, and business and production management, predictor variables. The correlation coefficient between the criterion variables and predictor variables was obtained from data processing from visits to shops in an online mall that was preceded by data scaling. Agents who manage the organizational functions and business processes of garment SMEs as a whole include garment SMEs, garment SMEs coopetition, and domestic (regional/national) governments. For a harmonious cooperation between garment SMEs in coopetition, organizational functions and business processes that are most strongly correlated with competitiveness will still be managed by garment SMEs, the second strongest in coopetition, and finally the government. For this study, the family of women's fashion products for the Indonesian market, marketing is managed by the garment SMEs themselves, and the garment SME coopetition manages product development. The resulting domestic SME coopetition model is an organizational function and business process for product development. In this coopetition allows the use of technology I4.0. To measure the increase in competitiveness, the amount of reduction in average fixed costs per new product is used.
