Abstract

The Creative Innovation Network studies how creative or innovative ideas circulate through the network. The Creative Collaboration Process studies how engaged people in networks generate new ideas. For a better understanding of the role of networks in creativity, it is essential to determine whether the two areas of research connect. This study uses a systematic literature review methodology to answer the question of where the two research streams intersect. Social Learning theory, activity theory, complexity theory, and Social Creativity theory might intersect the streams. This can help researchers apply as an approach to network creativity studies.
