N2 - Decommissioning is the process of removing a structure from service or use and/or shutting it down, and the process is complex and time-consuming. The method used in decommissioning must be considered several essential points such as costs, people (stakeholders), availability of tools, and the environment. This paper aims to identify the relevant methods of decision support systems in the decommissioning process of offshore oil and gas platforms. The paper gathered 25 scientific publications indexed paper from 2020 to 2023. Each study used different methods, types, and sources of data. Each paper is categorized into four quadrants of theoretical mapping diagrams based on the types and sources of data. This research indicates that the frequently used data of decommissioning offshore platforms are secondary data with a quantitative type of study. Therefore, further research may be implemented on the result of this study for a decision support system for offshore platform decommissioning.
