Abstract
In manufacturing industries, engineering departments often manage complex, multi-phase projects. However, many still rely on spreadsheets and decentralized file storage, hindering transparency and coordination. This study presents a web-based project management platform tailored to an engineering design department. Developed using Laravel and MySQL with the ICONIX methodology, the system centralizes documentation and standardizes workflows. User acceptance testing showed an 86.3% acceptance rate, indicating strong usability. The findings support the effectiveness of customized IT solutions in addressing operational challenges in engineering project environments.
