Abstract

The agricultural area is in efforts to raise yields on their fields while also optimising operations in order to remain competitive and meet the ever-increasing demand for harvesting. Cost savings may be accomplished through expanding the productive field size and reducing activities without sacrificing quality. The Agricultural Routing Planning (ARP) problem is a subset of the vehicle routing problem (VRP) that focuses on agricultural operations and considers field and vehicle configurations. This short literature review provides an overview of the ARP as well as past and present studies and different adaptations of the problem.
