N2 - In order to prevent pollution, Indonesia has started to increase its use of green energy. Solar energy is one of the many types of green energy that has been deployed. Solar energy cannot be isolated from the energy storage system since the voltage and current values of the solar panel change with temperature and irradiance. As a result, solar energy that is turned into electrical energy anticipates the use of batteries. The stumbling block is that charging the battery necessitates the use of a method that ensures the battery's safety and quality. If a battery charging method is not provided, unsteady voltage and current values from solar panels might harm the battery. As a result, a converter with a regulated current and voltage is required to solve this issue. This study employs a cuk converter as a battery charger with constant current control, which regulates the charging current, and constant voltage control, which regulates the charging voltage, by employing fuzzy type 2 as a duty cycle value control for both constant current and constant voltage modes.
