Analysis and design of groundwater quality monitoring application

Abstract

The existence of groundwater is strategic and important for daily activities such as households, irrigation, tourism or industrial purpose. Since groundwater condition gives a huge impact on people's health. Therefore, monitoring water condition is inevitable. In practice, water condition is monitored by taking water sample from monitoring well, then measures the substance contained in the sample, finally conforms it to the standards to determine the status. In order to increase people awareness about water quality in their neighborhood, we propose a water quality monitoring application so that people can access the information about the quality of the groundwater easily. Since the project is ongoing, this paper presents analysis and design of the proposed application according to identified requirements.
