Abstract

Valvular heart disease (VHD) is a type of cardiovascular disease (CVD) that is often asymptomatic in its early stages, resulting in delays in detection and treatment that risk causing serious damage to health. According to data from the WHO in 2019, approximately 17.9 million people died from cardiovascular disease, accounting for 32.9% of total global deaths, and VHD caused 2% of those deaths. The “HeartBeat” application is an Android application designed to support telemonitoring of heart health conditions and display the results of heart valve disease classification. The development is carried out using the Kotlin programming language, with the backend built using Laravel and MySQL as a database. Application testing was carried out with user acceptance testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with 19 subjects, and an SUS score with an average of 87.11 in the excellent category, which indicates a high level of application usability.
