Applying text mining for case analysis and vaccination status level in Ontario

Abstract

Covid-19 vaccination cases are still important in various countries, especially in the Ontario region, which is one of the provinces in Canada. Most people now use social media on a daily basis, so information about Covid-19 can be monitored online. This can be analyzed using text mining, in this study R Studio software was used to analyze and visualize keywords as cloud data. Data was taken in July 2022. In the process of text mining, several stages are carried out, namely first loading text where the data is accessed online then entered into the R application worksheet after the data is successfully downloaded, the second stage of transforming the data, serves to eliminate characters in the data text. the third stage of cleaning data from unimportant words, text analysis is carried out aimed at seeing the ranking terms. The results showed that the words "dose, covid and Canada"are the 3 most important, this is due the number of Covid19 cases that are still growing and the increasing vaccination status in Ontario with the keyword used is #vaccine.
