N2 - The restriction of social interaction resulting from the Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 pandemic has caused several psychological problems that lead to isolation and psychological illnesses such as depression and anxiety. Even though social interaction is already done in the virtual world, it cannot replace social interaction in the real world. Besides that, ambience also plays a role in triggering relaxation, making people more excited being surrounded by other people with the help of soundscape. As a result, a place for social interaction and relaxation is needed. This design research aims to respond to those issues by designing the inner-site building as a music venue and the outer-site spaces with an auditory system. The approach is a musical architecture that analogies musical components with architecture through density, harmony, material, and emotional interpretation. At the same time, the method combines a few elements such as the concept-based framework, domain-to-domain transfer, criteria, approach, and the use of design tools. The tools are Fabfilter Adobe Audition and Ease Focus. The chosen site is Lot 8 Sudirman Central Business District Jakarta, with the condition of its abandoned music venue during the pandemic as the primary consideration. Therefore, the design's result highlighted the maximum relaxation with social interaction and atmosphere by watching live music concerts with the intervention of technology and solutions toward COVID-19 pandemic through a mixed building with the primary function as a music venue.
