Abstract

Entering the era of digital 4.0 means that everything can take place in the blink of an eye and is in the hands of all of us. Not only is communication technology developing rapidly, but economic growth is also having a positive impact. The presence of industry 4.0 is now starting to be felt in various lines of life. Starting from agriculture, animal husbandry, health, education, to trade. Like it or not, we must be able to adapt to the current situation in the modern world, in order to survive. And our presence cannot be shifted by the existence of increasingly sophisticated technology, which can now replace human tasks more effectively and efficiently. Industry 4.0 is a modern era that is now starting to occur and aims to ease human tasks, but as modern humans we must also be willing to learn and adapt so as not to be left behind with the progress of the times. In general, automation is a method or process of using a machine, control system, or information technology to further optimize the production process, or delivery system for goods and services. This automation process is generally carried out if it is felt that the previous process took quite a long time when using human labor both based on quantity and quality factors. When talking about the role of automation in world industries, automation concept is an improvement on the concept mechanization. During the mechanization era, application still required the assistance of human muscle power so that the machine was able to do the job well.
