Abstract

The use of digital resources, especially social media, in the employment process has raised possible problems as well as worries. Particularly in the area of cyber vetting, this has resulted in new ethical dilemmas. The purpose of this article is to shed light on the close relationship that exists between an applicant's internet footprint and the hiring process. With the methodology of bibliometric analysis, this research explores the detailed analysis of different keyword frequencies that arise from the search correlation process. This exposes an abundance of research publications that provide deep insights into the relationship between cyber screening and the hiring process. an important facet of the interaction between hiring and cyber vetting. Emphasizing terms like cyber vetting, social media screening, and firm, These clusters provide a thorough grasp of the complex dynamics of cyber vetting and its effects on the employment market. We can see through the heatmap visualization that there are strong links between studies that discuss how cyber vetting may be inherent in many recruitment processes done by recruiters by researching their prospective employee's online data.
