Abstract

Channel characterization i;r a substantial consideration in designing communication systems. The radio coverage and the maximum data rate are the main parameters which depend on the environmeni. Therefore, the knowledge of channel should be discovered in order to defme the system parameters. A comparative study on channel characteridics in some environmem3, within dijferent frequency ban& will be introduced. The channel parameters Cpower loss, delay spread, ceherence bandwidth) within several frequency bands are then modeled. The frequency dependent evaluation of the parameters will be presented as the conclush.
