title = "Clutter mitigation technique on OFDM MIMO radar",
abstract = "Clutter as an unwanted signal originating from wall and rough ground surfaces can interfere with target detection. To reduce the influence of clutter, a mitigation technique is needed on the radar system using the MIMO algorithm partial adaptive beamforming. This algorithm is able to direct beamforming to the target and beamforming is null when it comes to clutter. The radar system utilizes OFDM signals that are sensitive to doppler shifts so they can detect the range and velocity of the target. Periodogram is used to obtain range and velocity information from the target and radar. MUSIC Algorithm to detect target and radar arrival angles. This paper analyzed about the comparison of information obtained from clutter modeling with information from the received signal can be identified by radar then if the information that matches the characteristics of clutter, clutter is pressed with a weighting vector. Generated MIMO algorithm adaptive partial beamforming. The mitigation results are able to suppress clutter and sidelobe formed due to the separation of the target and clutter.",
