Abstract

Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is an information and communication technologies (ICT) that can be used to support smart mobility on a smart city. The ITS is expected to be able to optimize the current public transport condition that has not been integrated through an ICT networks. In this paper is proposed a traffic management center (TMC) development used to monitor the fleet's movement and soon will be developed to control the fleet's movement. In this research will be discussed from the hardware, software development also the data communication protocol algorithm through a wireless network between OBU and TMC. The result that is obtained from this research is the TMC miniature development that can monitor the movement from few OBU with the use of IP-based protocol through a wireless communication network.
