N2 - Quality has become a very important part of the production process, as well as for the company PT Siemens Indonesia. Modern advances and developments change the consumer's perspective in choosing a desired product. Improvement and improvement of product quality in the hope of achieving a product defect rate close to zero defects. The strategy that can guarantee quality is a strategy that is able to maintain process stability, so that the process can be controlled with the aim of minimizing defective products in this final project, the background of the problem is the high voltage panel data, where there are still many panel products that are not suitable. Then from these problems, identification of the types of defective products that often occur, the factors that cause the defective products along with the proposed improvements using the define, measure, analyze, improve, control (DMAIC) method with the aim of reducing and preventing these defects. [1]. The results of identifying the types of defects that often occur show that component shortage is the highest contributor to the data with a percentage of 35%. Therefore, improvements are needed to the problem, namely conducting daily briefings and checking materials regularly, more intensive supervision so that material planning and procurement are still well fulfilled.
