Abstract

Due to difficulty to logistic distribution in remote areas and difficult to reach areas, it is necessary to have a boat that can carry that task. To ensure safety for the ship and ship's crew, the logistic boat itself must be integrated with autonomous system. The concept design of logistic intelligence boat is offered as a problem-solving in this study. Logistic intelligence boat designed with spiral design procedure with Bahari-11 as parent ship. The final design of logistic intelligence boat with length of overall (LOA): (57) meters, width (B): (9.5) meters, Draft (T): (5.4) meters, and speed of (4.48) knots. The model calculated with Froude number similarity to obtain length of overall (LOA): (2) meters, width (B): (0,33) meters, Draft (T): (0,15) meters and speed (1,723) knot. There are 3 experiment to check on the model performance, speed test, maneuver test and autonomous test. Speed test result the ship could maintaince its service speed value in accordance with set points. For maneuvering test, logistic intelligence boat passed the IMO maneuvering criteria. The autonomous system used are waypoint guidance system and the ship could properly go to the target location.
