Abstract

Earthquake shaking table is one of the tools used to simulate earthquake behavior and its effect for the structures. This research describes a process of designing a dual-axis shaking table using ball screw linear guide actuator as its main actuator. The system utilizes Bressenham algorithm for controlling both actuators synchronously. ZX gesture and motion sensor is used to monitor every movement from the table.
