N2 - Digital transformation has become a key factor in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of various sectors, including in the development of Smart Village. The concept of Smart Village refers to the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve the quality of life of rural communities through innovative digital-based solutions. However, the implementation of digital transformation in smart villages is not only about adopting technology, but also requires a holistic approach, including aspects of infrastructure, governance, and community involvement. In this context, an IT Architecture Reference is needed as a guide in designing and implementing digital solutions that are in accordance with the needs of Smart Village. The IT Reference Architecture serves as a framework that helps stakeholders develop integrated, flexible, and sustainable systems. To ensure its effectiveness, the development of this architecture requires a structured and research-based method. One of the relevant approaches in the development of this artifact is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). DSRM provides systematic stages in designing, developing, and launching IT-based solutions, especially in the context of Information Systems. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of a Smart Village that is sustainable, inclusive, and able to improve community welfare with appropriate digital technology.
