Abstract
This study examines the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into a cybersecurity framework to enhance resilience in the manufacturing sector. We develop a comprehensive cyber resilience maturity framework that focuses on improving threat detection, incident response, and system recovery processes. Utilizing a design-based research methodology, we identify key characteristics for evaluating cyber resilience and translate theoretical concepts into practical applications. Our mixed-methods approach includes a literature review, stakeholder assessment, and empirical validation across various manufacturing settings. The resulting framework offers actionable recommendations, addresses challenges such as data privacy and model interpretability, and proposes best practices and policy recommendations.
