Abstract
This study develops a conceptual model to enhance the performance of halal micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within digital business ecosystem (DBE). A semi-systematic literature review of studies from 2015 to 2025 identified key performance determinants, extended the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework. Thematic analysis reveals DBE as mediator and halal dimension as moderator, reflecting halal MSMEs' context. The resulting model highlights determinants such as relative advantage, compatibility, communication, digital literacy, DBE engagement, and halal dimension, contributing to the commerce performance, financial performance, and social image of halal MSMEs. The model offers a foundation for future empirical research and practical applications.
