Determination of Sub-District Indicators in Surabaya City based on the SMART Concept

Performance indicators of 31 sub-districts in Surabaya are still the same and are not yet fully accountable (SMART). It is very important to prepare SMART performance indicators so that it is expected that existing sub-district funds can be used effectively and efficiently. There are three analyses that will be conducted to achieve the research objectives, among others, by looking for programs and activities that can be carried out by the sub-district government based on the Decree of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 50 of 2020 that produces 4 programs, and 9 sub-prgrams selected to be carried out by the sub-district government. After that, Focus Group Discussion with the City government was carried out to find out the thematic potential of 31 sub-districts in Surabaya city as material for the preparation of subdistrict indicators and produced 6 sub-district themes. The last stage is to synchronize thematic sub-district programs and activities with the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Surabaya City. This is done so that the resulting activity indicators are in accordance with the direction of surabaya development in the next 5 years.
