N2 - In this era, oil and gas mining activities were at the bottom of the sea. Therefore, offshore platforms are needed to support oil and gas mining activities. The offshore platform consists of several systems. One of the systems that have the most critical function is the separation system. The separation system has important equipment (test separator (V-1010) and production separator (V-1020)). So, the level of risk from the test separator (V-1010) and the production separator (V-1020) becomes the consideration to ensure that the mining process can run well and safely. One of the problems that can increase the level of risk of the test separator (V-1010) and the production separator (V-1020) is corrosion under insulation (CUI). On the surface of the separator is given insulation which is using for personnel protection and energy conservation. Thus, CUI occurs on the surface between separator and insulation. This research, using the methodology in API RP 581 to determine the likelihood of CUI on the test separator (V-1010) and the production separator (V-1020). From this research, the likelihood value for CUI on the test separator (V-1010) is 0,255178494 failure/year, and the production separator (V-1020) is 0,255151772 failure/year.
