Abstract

The cathode material of LiNixFe1-x PO4 / C in this study was synthesized through a solid process, using Ni ion doping variations concentration are x = 0.01, 0.02, and 0.03. Effects of doping variations of Ni ions on cathode material were characterized by microstructure and electrical properties using XRD, PSA, SEM, and EIS. The results of the XRD analysis showed that LiFePO4, Li3Fe2PO4, and Fe2O3 phases were formed. Conductivity Test results showed that conductivity before doping of LFP / C was 10.24x10-4 S / cm, and after doping with Ni ion are x = 0.01; 0.02 and 0.03 have the respective electrical conductivities are LiNi0.01 Fe0.99 PO4 / C of 7.75 x10-4 S / cm, LiNi0.02 Fe0.98 PO4 / C of 10.334 x10-4 S / cm, and LiNi0.03 Fe0. 97 PO4 / C of 4.87 x10-4 S / cm. With the highest electrical conductivity value is on the cathode LiNi0.02 Fe0.98 PO4 / C.
