Abstract
Performance Appraisal is crucial for Human Resource Management (HRM) to determine compensation, enhance performance and develop competencies. Regular and comprehensive appraisals enable companies to devise effective strategies, boost productivity, and gain competitive advantage. The research aims to develop Performance Appraisal artifacts using Balanced Scorecard (BSC), 360° Feedback, and GE McKinsey 9 Box Matrix (GE Matrix), using Design Science (DS) research approach. This represents a novel contribution to the research. The implementation of the Design Science Research Method (DSRM) is described, emphasizing its focus on innovative information system designs to address practical organizational challenges. This study can be used as an additional reference for DS research on HRM.
