N2 - Propeller selection is very important to obtain maximum efficiency from several existing propeller options. However, before choosing a propeller many parameters should be determined, one of which is the estimated diameter. From the existing literature, in order to determine the diameter the value of rotation should be given first. This can be an obstacle if the calculation of the new ship design has not determined the main engine power needed to push the ship. Whereas, in order to find the engine power requirements, the value of propeller efficiency is needed in the calculation of delivery power. With this diameter estimation, later it can bring up the performance and efficiency values of some B-Series propeller types by using the polynomial method.
