Abstract
This paper explores the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) by applying Simulated Annealing (SA) and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithms to optimize delivery routes for ABC Company, a ready-to-drink beverages distributor in Indonesia. The study addresses ABC's need to improve distribution efficiency, moving away from the current suboptimal routing practices. Focusing on a delivery network of 142 stores and a fleet of five trucks, the research compares the performance of SA and ACO. The results reveal that SA reduces the total travel distance by approximately 19% compared to the company's current route, outperforming ACO. These findings suggest significant potential for cost savings and enhanced operational efficiency in ABC's logistics processes.
