N2 - The energy crisis is currently the world's major issue in recent decades. The use of energy is almost in all aspects and all human activity depends on energy. For now, the world's energy consumption is still in dominance by fossil energy (petroleum, gas, and coal). Given the limited supply of energy sources, the energy alternative that can be utilized is solar energy. Solar energy utilization technology can be distinguished into two namely the conversion of solar energy into electricity through solar cells, and the utilization of solar heat using solar collectors for drying. This study discusses the influence of the Absorber plate of V-Corrugated dimple form with a staggered arrangement against the performance of solar collectors. The diameter of a dimple on the absorber plate measuring 5, 7, 9 mm. Experiments using halogen lamps with radiation intensity varying from 431; 575; 718 W/m2 and varying mass flow rate of 0.001; 0.002; 0.004; 0.006 kg/s. The results obtained are the magnitude of useful energy that is absorbed by the working fluid of solar collectors directly proportional to the increase in mass flow rate and radiation intensity. For the V-Corrugated absorber plate with a diameter of a 9 mm dimple, the highest Qusefull is achieved at a mass flow rate of 0.006 kg/s with a radiation intensity of 718 W/m2 of 65.9 W and the highest efficiency of 65.7 % achieved at a mass flow rate of 0.006 kg/s with radiation intensity of 718 W/m2.
