N2 - Mobile payment is a technology that supports financial technology applications using smartphone devices to convert manual payments into digital ones in the financial sector. In the last five years, the trend of using mobile payments has increased because the benefits of mobile payments support the needs of economic activities. To explore new research opportunities in this matter, this is very important to consider the factors affecting the use of mobile payments. The purpose of this literature review is to consider the findings of previous research and make a systematic review of the literature. This study collects 30 articles on mobile payment adoption. It analyzes them based on theory, context, and factors that influence mobile payments sourced from Scopus-indexed journals or the Web of Science. The study findings from the systematic literature review are the main factors influencing the adoption intention of mobile payments: individual behavior, technological factors, and external factors. This paper will produce a conceptual model that will be used for further research.
