Abstract

This study aims to analyze competition between two railway ticket reservation services from users' perspective. The existence of many services makes them compete to acquire users, with KAI Access and Traveloka being the most popular. To determine appropriate business strategies for fair competition, a game theory analysis was carried out. For preparing the model, their business strategies were identified. A survey was conducted to collect 156 users' preferences. The survey results then used to calculate each strategies' value by using game theory model. The game value obtained was 15.33, which produced two appropriate strategies for KAI Access and Traveloka.
