Abstract

This study aimed to establish green building criteria that are suitable for high-rise buildings used as office rental. Study method began with the collection of a variety of green building criteria that have been developed. Next step was the identification of green building criteria in the tropics. Field works were then performed to evaluate the buildings that have been used. The main result of this study was a green building criteria formulation suitable for application rental office, a new strategy and the determining criterion that was energy saving design.
