Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is undoubtedly causing new habits that will affect several sectors around the world. The hotel business has taken a significant impact as a result of the physical distance regulation. Although numerous health and safety measures have been developed to ensure health and economic balance, there are still many variables to learn. Further, tiny businesses, such as budget hotels, must consider carefully about protocols and economic aspects. The current study is based on a review of the global academic literature on Budget Hotel scientometric analysis of the post-COVID-19 pandemic epidemic. The literature was collected from the Scopus database between 2020 and 2022. The study gathered 97 Scopus-indexed papers. The findings revealed that the most affordable hotel is examined as the highest category by journal publications on business management topics. The United States dominated further research origins, and the year 2020 is the largest research number. The visual mapping produces eight large groupings. Surprisingly, COVID-19 and pandemics are rarely investigated. Furthermore, just a few countries and cities were investigated. More crucially, merely a few chats about the cheap hotel in 2022, when the vaccines are distributed internationally, opens the door to a vast range of research prospects. The report includes other recommendations.
