N2 - Technology is the main focus of the industrial sector, one of which is manufacturing. Technology continues to be developed to increase revenue and streamline work in the manufacturing industry. Considering the importance of technology, The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Industry launched a program roadmap called Making Indonesia 4.0, one of whose strategies is the application of internet of things (IoT). IoT is a technology used to support Industry 4.0 by assisting activities in companies. The automotive industry is one of the priority sectors on the Making Indonesia 4.0 program roadmap. Therefore, the automotive industry is required to be able to adapt quickly to technological developments. The identification of critical success factors (CSFs) supports the implementation of Industry 4.0 by helping to make priorities and strategies for companies in making decisions and conducting evaluations in order to maintain their business processes for the long term. The method used in this study was a survey questionnaire and interviews with respondents. The respondents who met the inclusion criteria and participated in this study were 55. The results of the study based on the o respondents' opinions obtained 8 dimensions and 24 sub-dimensions that become critical success factors (CSFs) for the implementation of IoT in automotive companies in Indonesia to achieve effective and efficient corporate goals and strategies.
