N2 - Roads are one of the most significant land transport infrastructures in a region’s economy. One of the national roads in Banyuwangi Regency is the Rogojampi-Kabat Road Section, which runs for 5 km. In addition, the traffic flow on this road segment is quite crowded. This traffic flow will have an impact on the speed of passing vehicles. Variations in vehicle speed can also be influenced by particular sorts of locales. This is one of the contributing causes of traffic accidents. Based on this, it is required to identify trends in accidents and locations that have become accident-prone (black spots). Data analysis carried out includes traffic analysis, accident rate analysis, and study of accident-prone locations (black spot). As a result of this study, traffic accident trends and black spot locations will be plotted in an effort to reduce the high rate of traffic accidents on the National Road. It is also expected that this study will offer solutions that are on target in terms of decreasing accident rates and reducing accident-related costs.
