Abstract

Transportation plays a crucialrole in people’s lives, changing views, and having significantsocial and economic growth. Besides, technological developments are also related to social and economic growth. Thus the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) has evolved rapidly towards social and economic conditions at this time. The biggest problem with the development of transportation today is congestion, and even congestion itself has become a matter of more significantconcern nowadays. The higherthe vehicle growth, the fiercer the competition among car manufacturers by promoting the vehicles they make, and there are no clear rules for increasing the growth of vehicles. Several factors are causing congestion;it starts from population growth in cities that keep increasing, limited length of roads compared to the volume of vehicles, to traffic accidents. What also the culprit, one of the bottlenecks, is the government who manages the road facilities. The study applies a dynamic system to model the formulation of vehicle estimation problems and propose information systems and technology strategies that can be used to support solutions of the problems revealed as needed. The result of this study is the creation of a sub-model by simulating vehicle development and congestion levels in urban areas using several references from previous studies. The study is expected to reduce congestion by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of driving through dynamic system implementation.
