Implementation of Entrepreneurial Orientation in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises a Systematic Literature Review

Micro, small and medium enterprises will always be faced with various business risks. Risk is a very crucial thing that must be considered because it concerns the Business Performance of a company. In the context of internal company risks, some of which are caused by weak Capabilities and Entrepreneurial Orientation, the majority of micro small and medium enterprises experience difficulties in developing their businesses. Findings from several previous researchers found that one of the factors that micro small and medium enterprises have difficulty developing is the lack of optimal implementation of Entrepreneurial Orientation. Based on these problems, the influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Business Performance needs attention for further study. This paper will be an exploration tool for the application of Entrepreneurial Orientation to micro small and medium enterprises using a Systematic Literature Review approach. The research questions asked are: how does the application of Entrepreneurial Orientation affect the business performance of micro small and medium enterprises. This research has found 42 articles that are most relevant from 2009 to 2024. The results of this research have led to a various perspective on the influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Business Performance. The results of this research also found a study of entrepreneurial orientation in three geographical context subsectors, namely business performance strategy, creative industries, and services industries.
