Abstract

Inaccurate estimates of demand for goods from (Institut Technologi Sepuluh Nopember) ITS cause the absorption rate for procurement of goods to remain low. Planning logistics procurement and budget projections are critical. The planning process will be more efficient with an integrated system. This study aims to develop a conceptual model of a system dynamics to improve the procurement system's effectiveness and efficiency. Scenario results show that managing the relationship between the 25 variables can decrease stock by 50% and annual expenditure can be reduced by 10% so that ITS can implement a safety stock system policy and purchase goods on time.
