Abstract

In evaluating and preparing system design of both universal mobile communications and wireless local area networks, indoor radio propagation has been extensively explored. This paper presents evaluation on indoor propagation channel parameters based on the measurement results in 450, 900, 1800, 2400 and 5800 MHz bands, in order to expose the frequency dependence on the channel parameters. The frequency dependence is clearly observed on path loss parameters, however, it is not consistently remarked on delay spread, coherence bandwidth and number of paths parameters.
