abstract = "There are factors need to be considered and implemented in design, and it needs multiple expertise with different backgrounds, expertise, and experiences to deal with it. Collaborative design is conducted with purposes to produce best fit design and to solve problems. As a process of multi disciplines and teamwork, collaboration becomes an important role in the process of design selection. This paper presents the knowledge and protocol process in a process of design collaboration. The methodology combines value analysis method, decision method and multi agent development method. Prometheus model is used for developing an agent system based on the protocol. Collaboration consists of an exchange of proposals between agents. Computer-mediated work increases the comprehension, the readability and, the objectivity of the decision-making. Results presented are knowledge with a model of group decision-making using automated collaboration based on five-decision maker preference and concept of the protocol.",
