Longitudinal Bending Strength in a High-Density Polyethylene Boat Hull Due to Operational Condition

Abstract

The standard for acceptance criteria in the analysis of structures for small single-hull boats can be determined by ISO 12215-5 with a size span of 2.5 m to 24 m made of reinforced fiber, aluminum, steel, wood, and materials suitable for ships. Assessing the strength of the ship structureShip structure with a length of 10.4 m can be done by comparing the stressesStress that occur due to loadsLoads that work during an operation against the yield or maximum stressStress that must be met in a boat structure. However, this will be interesting if the loadLoads application used is the workload of the operating environment. Determination of the loadLoads on the structure is investigated in this study studied in this study, which is used as input to test the longitudinal bending strength of the high-density polyethylene boat.
