Mechanism Development of Blood Pump and Syringe Pump in Hemodialysis Machine

Abstract

The kidney as its fatal function to the body's metabolism, hormones, and body fluid, can be damaged and lost its function. To support kidney function, hemodialysis as renal replacement therapy can be done to treat symptoms and signs due to a low glomerular filtration rate. Therapy is done by draining blood out of the body using a blood pump with 0.1 % error with flowrate 300 ml/minute applied, to test blood pump duration, 1-minute to 5-minute duration is applied and given an average error of 0.162 %, and heparin is streamed during hemodialysis using a syringe pump with 2.476 % error for 1-minute to 5-minute testing. Half-step is applied to the driver motor stepper that control motor stepper used.
