Abstract

The transient stability assessment in the power grid has a vital role in ensuring system security. However, other conditions regarding the imbalance fault need to be studied further. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the critical clearing time, which can calculate the generator stability accurately and quickly for multi-machine systems. The transient electric power system stability analysis was carried out using a modified critical trajectory method on the reference generator. The critical trajectory calculation time calculation will stop when it has reached the lost and lost condition. The power plan that is used 4 generators 9 bus, and 7 generators 57 bus. From the result, this method is accurate, with faster processing time than the conventional time-domain simulation method.
