Abstract

Occupational safety is a very important aspect in the construction of offshore building projects because; its implementations are vulnerable to the risk of work accident. In the Ocean X Mooring Chain Replacement Project, there are activities that have hazard indications that may impact on safety, economic and environmental aspects. In this study, the Workplace Risk Analysis of the Mooring Chain Replacement project of Ocean X is done to determine the dominant occupational risks and causes, impacts, and risk controls by using Bowtie Analysis Method. This study executes by distributing questionnaires to project-related parties to determine the magnitude of likelihood and severity of occupational accidents and occupational accidents risk assessment. The results of this study found that the risk of work accidents that include in extreme categories are mooring chain uncontrollably broke out, workers fell into the sea (man overboard), and a wildfire.
