title = "Optimal Control Analysis of Spread Computer Viruses using Linear Quadratic Regulator Method",
abstract = "The existence of computers and the internet in this era is indispensable for humans in carrying out their daily lives. Apart from the internet, computer viruses can also spread through removable storage media connected to a computer. Therefore, it is necessary to take action in dealing with the spread of computer viruses so as not to infect many more computers. The model used in this study comes from Zhang. This study contains a discussion about providing control in the form of giving the latest antivirus to susceptible, latent, and breakout computers and deleting infected files/documents in latent and breakout computers. The purpose of this control is to minimize computer latency and breakout as well as the costs involved using controller and weight control by trial and error. The results obtained are by giving the latest antivirus can reduce computer latency by 54.87% and computer breakout by 100%, by deleting infected files/data can reduce computer latency by 15.04% and computer breakout by 100% and when given control both can reduce computer latency by 97.35% and computer breakout by 100%.",
