N2 - Halal certification is a strategic step for MSMEs to retain consumers differentiate from competing MSMEs and provide added value to products. All products that enter, circulate, and are traded in Indonesia must have a halal certificate. The ethanol content in the final beverage product is tolerated at less than 0.5% as it is medically harmless. This technology has high efficiency in measuring alcohol (ethanol) content in beverage products. Designed using an 18650 battery power source and Lipo Imax B3 Pro Charger so it can be charged. Using this alcohol detector, you can measure the physical content of alcohol (ethanol) in beverages by capturing alcohol vapor. The alcohol vapor will be captured by the MQ3 sensor, which is a semiconductor sensor. In addition, the LED on the device will light up as an indication to classify the alcohol content according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 86/Men.Kes/Per/IV/77 on Liquor, then the Buzzer on the device will also sound as an indication of alcohol content. The sensor validation method used is to compare the actual sensor reading with the reading of the alcohol refractometer. External disturbances that can affect the reading of the device are ambient air, room temperature, and room humidity. All physical readings of alcohol content will be displayed on a TFT LCD and can be monitored directly using a smartphone on an Android application. Data can also be saved in the application on the 'Historical' menu and to the database in real-Time using Firebase. The characteristics of the MQ-3 sensor are able to read the alcohol content value with an accuracy of 94,67% with an error of 5,33%. The addition of Peltier and MAX 6675 thermocouple temperature sensors serves to regulate the air conditions in the sample test room so that the readings have a high level of accuracy. The application is able to display data in real time and record reading data that has been done before.
