Abstract

Surabaya city has three million population, in which the drinking water supplies come from six Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) located in Karangpilang I, II, III and Ngagel I, II, III.The present research tried to analyze the quality status on Surabaya’s river by using STORET and Pollution Index methods. This research uses the water quality monitoring of Surabaya rivers year 2011-2015, and prediction the water quality by System Dynamic Method for year 2016-2020. Based on STORET Score, the water quality in intake DWTP Karangpilang are categorized as heavily polluted (HP) from year 2011 to 2020. Based on Pollution Index, the water quality in intake DWTP Karangpilang from year 2011 to 2020 on each parameters: TSS is majority in category of medium polluted (MP), BOD, DO, PO 4 are majority in category of lightly polluted (LP), COD and NO 3 are majority in category of good condition (GC).
