title = "Recurrence Perturb and Observe algorithm for MPPT optimization under shaded condition",
abstract = "Photovoltaic (PV) systems commonly require power conditioner equipment. These consist of converters that have a lot of control methods for tuning the duty cycle. The proper duty cycle value ensure PV panel to produces a maximum power. Perturb and Observe (P&O) is one of the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques. It is widely used in researches and industries because of the simplicity for finding the Maximum Power Point (MPP). PV system have several MPP under Partial Shading Conditions (PSC) and the highest one is the true MPP. It is called global solution and the others are called local solution. To deal with shaded conditions, P&O need some improvements. This paper will proposed the simple Recurrence P&O (RP&O) algorithm to deal under PSC. It will be simulated under normal and shaded conditions and will be compared to the original P&O. The result indicates the proposed algorithm having a better performance than the original one.",
