N2 - Parepare Port is within the working area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) which serves the export and import cargo. In 2021, 99% of visiting ships entering Parepare port will be more than 500 GT, so it is mandatory to use pilot services to enter the port. Currently ship guiding services are provided by MP. Masela and MP. Bandar Madani. However, M.P. Bandar Madani experienced a drowning incident in September 2021. Even though the engine had been repaired, the condition was not as before. PT Pelindo Marine Service as the pilot boat operator will repower the MP Bandar Madani into an electric pilot boat. This initiative aims to enhance pilotage services and contribute to the sustainability goals of Pare-pare Port, thereby transforming it into a Green Port. This paper discusses the technical analysis of repowering at MP Bandar Madani to improve pilot services and support the Pare-pare Port as a Green Port.
