N2 - Negotiation behavior in construction projects is used as the first choice in interparty interaction, dispute resolution, and decision-making, which is usually measured by conflict handling style. Design planning is important in construction projects because it becomes the main reference in implementation involving several parties. Often, collaborative efforts in the design and construction process become conflicts due to the different backgrounds of expertise, interests, and goals of each party involved. Collaboration can be understood as relationships, materials, processes, contexts, and negotiable outcomes. This research uses the literature review research method. This study aims to determine the use of research methods related to the influence of negotiation styles and outcomes in design and construction collaboration by analyzing 24 significant and Scopus-indexed papers. The results show that the use of quantitative methods with primary data is the most dominant. Thus, the follow-up of this study will help to promote research methods in terms of negotiation styles and outcomes in design and construction collaboration.
