Abstract

The purpose of this study is to define the various learning media widely used in physics learning and to examine the needs of interactive video-based multimedia for high school students. The research method of the survey was used in this report. The sample of this study consisted of 155 students and 5 high school physics teachers chosen using a sampling technique. Research data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observation techniques. The data analysis phases of this study include data collection, data condensation, data show, and conclusions drawn. The findings showed that: (1) high school physics teachers have used learning media in the form of books, images, actual objects, and the environment; (2) teachers and students need interactive video-based technology to support high school learning activities; (3) interactive video needed by teachers and students in the form of animated, not long-winded. It is recommended that interactive multimedia be created and introduced that is more enticing to enhance the quality of physical learning.
